Stay at Monarch: Book Cabin A · Book Cabin B · cabins near Watauga Lake

Watauga Lake is about 25–35 minutes from the cabins at 327 Jenkins Hollow Rd. Spend the day on the water, then come back to the firepit and a hot tub.
The lake has public boat launches — including Rat Branch and Little Milligan — plus marinas for rentals and bait. Smallmouth and largemouth, walleye, and trout in the tailwater are the usual draw. You need a Tennessee fishing license (TWRA).
On the lake
- You need a current Tennessee fishing license (TWRA). Marinas on the lake sell bait and can point you to a launch.
- Watauga is known for smallmouth and largemouth, walleye, and trout in the tailwater and tributaries. Regulations change — read TWRA for the season you are booking.
- Check TVA lake level before you trailer. Summer weekends fill parking at the lake. Tell us if you are bringing a trailer so we do not block the other cabin.
Back at the cabins
After a day on the lake, unwind at the firepit or in a private hot tub. Both cabins have a full kitchen. Cabin A is the couples layout. Cabin B has two bedrooms. Pets are welcome with the Airbnb pet fee.
